Namco ist an HD-Remakes älterer Tales-Spiele interessiert

Es ist ja mittlerweile bekannt, dass die Tales-Spiele von Namco Bandai, wenn überhaupt, nur mit großer Verzögerung im Rest der Welt erscheinen. So soll zum Beispiel tales of Graces F, ein HD-Port der Wii-Version, auch in Amerika und Europa erscheinen, während Wii-Spieler immer noch warten, da die Wii-Disc angeblich zu klein dafür wäre. Aber für Spieler gibt es Hoffnung, dass ältere Spiele vielleicht noch ihren Weg auf die PS3 und in den Westen finden, denn Namco Bandai hat nun Interesse daran geäußert ältere Spiele, wie Tales of Phantasia oder Tales of Destiny in HD zu portieren und dann neu im Rest der Welt zu veröffentlichen. Zwar könne man bislang nichts genaueres sagen, jedoch diskutiert man momentan darüber.

“This is something we would like to do and we are currently working to see if it would be possible to port older Tales games: Phantasia, Destiny, or Eternia, not only in Japan, but throughout the world,” he said.

 “However, I still can’t give much information about this. We are still discussing about whether this project can be done and on which game console those ports would be made.”
