PlayStation All-Stars Entwickler SuperBot muss gehen

Noch vor gar nicht zu langer Zeit hat Sony SuperBot Entertainment als genau den richtigen für die Entwicklung eines 2D Beat'em Ups angekündigt und so entstand dann PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Leider scheint das Spiel kein großer Erfolg gewesen zu sein, auch wenn es wahrlich nicht schlecht ist, doch Sony hat scheinbar kein Vertrauen mehr in den Entwickler und hat den Vertrag aufgelöst. So darf SuperBot Entertainment nun nicht einmal mehr den DLC zu Ende programmieren, der jetzt von Sony Santa Monica übernommen wird. Es bleibt also fraglich, ob nach den beiden DLC-Charakteren, die am 13. Februar erscheinen, überhaupt noch weitere Charaktere folgen werden. Hier noch kurz die Statements beider Firmen.

Sony: "Sony Computer Entertainment can confirm that the working agreement with developer Superbot Entertainment has amicably ended. We have had a positive working relationship with this talented studio, and wish them the best of success in their next endeavor. PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale and the title's forthcoming DLC releases will continue to be fully supported by Santa Monica Studio."

SuperBot Entertainment: "SuperBot Entertainment can confirm that the relationship with SCEA has ended on good terms. We are extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to work on with Sony on Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, and are extremely proud of the work we have done.
